Now this will be a great option for you to put in any extra items that you have that maybe you can't fit in the back of your Ram since this one does have the Ram box on it, or if you have anything that you don't wanna put in the back of your bed to get it all dirty, anything like some wild game from going out hunting. So let's take a closer look at it. Now we are gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds, but just make sure you know what your tongue weight is on your truck. As for the material, it's gonna be made out of steel, and it's gonna have this black powder coat finish to it. That black powder coat finish is gonna help it be more resistant to rusting. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier fits on a 2019 Ram 1500. There's a bunch of different cargo carriers, this specific one is gonna be mid-size. We have an interior dimension of 47 1/4 inches for length as well as 20 1/2 inches for width, or I guess the other way around, depending on how you measure things. Now, you might wonder, "Why would you want a cargo carrier for your truck" Well, maybe your truck bed's already full, maybe you've already got it fully loaded with other things, or sometimes some people like to get the cargo carriers for their smaller or heavier items just because it's easier to reach here rather than having to lower the tailgate, open the tonneau cover, grab from your truck bed. So whatever the reason is, we'll talk about how it fits on this specific truck. So how much length does it add to the back of the truck Well, measuring from our bumper, right over there to the end of the carrier, we have it at 29 1/2 inches. more

This is designed for two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers and it has a 500 pound weight capacity. Now it seems kind of interesting to have a cargo basket on the back of a pickup that has a truck bed for cargo, but in this case, as we can see we have our generator loaded up. Today we'll be taking a look at the etrailer cargo carrier on our 2019 Ram 1500 Classic.So you might be asking yourself, "Why would I need a cargo carrier if I have a truck" A really good reason is if you have a Tonneau Cover, and there's something that's just a little too tall to fit in our bed. Or, if you want to put coolers or anything like that, or anything that might get wet while on the trail, you can stick that on the cargo carrier, and not have to worry about anything in our bed.'.Our cargo carrier is going to have a 500-pound weight capacity. So we don't have to worry about throwing a fully-loaded cooler or two on here. I'm a pretty big guy, I don't even come close to the weight capacity of this cargo carrier.With this cargo carrier being made out of aluminum, it is still really strong, but it's easy to move around and easy to store. Some cargo carriers are big and bulky. more

Now it seems kind of silly to have something like this on a truck that has a bed where you carry cargo, but this is useful for if we have our truck bed already full or we're trying to keep something out of our truck bed. So we have our cooler here. In my experience, these kinds of coolers tend to leak once you have them full of liquid. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Ram 3500- Video
Today, on our 2014 RAM 3500, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow Cargo Carrier with Ramp, part number MT70100. Now, our cargo carrier with the ramp is going to be perfect for carrying a lawnmower, a scooter, or any other wheeled equipment that we may need to carry around. Now, let's go and unload our lawnmower and take a look at some of the features. With our lawnmower unloaded, I'd like to give you a few measurements. Now, the ramp itself is going to be roughly right about 40 inches long, and it's going to be just under 28 inches wide. Now, the measurements on the inside of our carrier here, it's going to be just under 48 inches, and the width is going to be the same as our ramp. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 2500 we're doing a test fit of the CURT 20 by 48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. Now this is designed to work with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Now although it does have a pretty high weight capacity, it is very lightweight so it's easy to insert and take out of your hitch. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements, starting off with our ground clearance. To the bottom of our bolt here we're going to have about 25-1/2". Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 28-1/2". more

Today on this 2016 Ram 1500, we're going to be test-fitting the 23x60 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier, part number CC-100. This cargo carrier has a 500 pound weight capacity. It also has this nice mesh flooring which actually makes it easier to clean after you take your cargo out. It also has these tie-downs periodically around the borders of the cargo carrier. Let's go ahead and give you some measurements here. First off, we're going to give you the total distance added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier's installed. Measure from the bumper and right to about here, that's going to be 29 inches. The ground clearance, that's to be this point here, that's going about 16 and a half inches. more

On this 2016 Ram 1500 we're going to be test fitting the 48x21 max tow cargo carrier. Part number MT70422. Let's take a look at this real quick. It's made from this nice sturdy aluminium. Very easy to clean and it has little lips and holes round here that you can use as tie down points. We have a couple up in the front and a couple up in the rear. Today on this 2016 Ram 1500, we're going to be test fitting the 20x60 Curt cargo carrier, Part Number C18150. Now the closest point to the bumper, this plate here, and that's going to be about 9 inches. Now with this vehicle, the exhaust is actually on the passenger side and faces away from the cargo carrier. more

Today on our 2015 Ram 1500 we're going to be doing a test of the CURT cargo carrier. This is a 24 by 60" rack, has a 500 pound capacity, a sturdy steel construction, a 2" shank, and has an adjustable upright position. It does not come with a pin and clip. Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500 we're going to be doing a test fit of the CURT cargo carrier. This is a 17 by 46" cargo carrier with a 500 pound capacity. It has an 1-1/4" shank and comes with a 2" sleeve. We're going to go ahead and use a 2" sleeve today on our 2" receiver. This part number is going to be C18145. Go ahead and get this lined up and get our pinholes. more

Curt 19x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500, we are going to be doing a test fit of the Curt cargo carrier, this is a 19x60, all aluminum construction, with a 500 pound capacity. It has a 2 inch shank on it for 2 inch receivers only. Your hitch pin and clip are not included, but if you would like to get one, you can order one on our website, part number PC3. The part number on this Curt is going to be C1800. Let's go ahead and test fit the shank into our receiver and line up our holes. All right, let's go ahead and get some measurements. Rola Dart Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500 we're going to be doing the test fit of the Rola Dart cargo carrier. This is a 23 by 56" rack with a 2" receiver, and it's going to be part number 59550. This has a 450 weight capacity and a solid steel construction. We'll go ahead and get these pinholes lined up. Once you have them lined up we're going to go ahead and take your supplied anti-rattle bolt and thread that in. Once you get that threaded in as far as you can by hand, go ahead and take a regular ratchet with an 1-1/16" socket. more

Surco Products 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Ram 1500 we're going to be doing the test fit of the Circo Cargo Carrier. This is a 24 by 60 inch rack. It has a 2 inch shank and solid steel construction. 500 pound capacity weight limit. The part number is going to be 52018. This rack does not come with your pin and clip, so if you'd like to purchase one on our website you can get that part number PC3. Let's go ahead and insert the shank into our 2 inch receiver. Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 2500, we'll be test fitting the Surco 24 by 60 railed cargo carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number 52018. Now, our vehicle is equipped with a 2-1/2-inch hitch, so we'll be using the Blue Ox Hitch Reducer Sleeve from a 2-1/2-inch to a 2-inch hitch, part number BX88187. Now, I went ahead and inserted the sleeve onto the shank of our cargo carrier to make it easier when installing. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the cargo carrier into the opening of the hitch. We'll then need to line up the pin hole of the sleeve with the pin hole of the shank of the carrier. We'll then continue to slide the sleeve back into the hitch and then line up the pin hole. We'll insert the pin through all 3 of the pin holes and then secure it with a clip on the other side. With the carrier secured, we'll go over a few measurements. We have about 21 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier. more
